Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

The intense conflict between werewolves and vampires unfolds over several decades. The vampires, led by Viktor, conspire to assemble a formidable army with the intent to exterminate the werewolves completely.

Lucian, the first werewolf able to take human form, is born into captivity as the offspring of a werewolf. Recognizing his unique strength, Viktor spares Lucian's life and names him, seeing potential in him beyond mere slavery.

Under Viktor's oppressive rule, Lucian is forced into slavery, controlled by a leash to suppress his abilities. Viktor envisions Lucian and his kind as Lycan slaves, tasked with protecting the vampire coven during the day and serving at night.

After discovering Sonja's role in Lucian's escape, Viktor retaliates by imprisoning her as well. As Lucian gathers allies among humans and Lycans, the tension escalates between vampires and werewolves.

In a desperate plea to save their lives, Sonja reveals her pregnancy to Viktor, hoping to sway him. Unfortunately, her revelation leads to tragedy, as the vampire council takes drastic measures against her.

After Sonja's tragic downfall at the hands of the council, Lucian transforms into a werewolf, harnessing his newfound strength to rally the wild werewolves. This act sets the stage for a fierce confrontation.
