A surreal comedic tale follows Haruo Maekawa, a squid‑catcher obsessed with a legendary giant in Tokyo Bay. His down‑on‑his‑luck uncle Takashi moves in, fueled by energy drinks and womanising, even seducing Haruo’s girlfriend Rika. After a shrine prayer ends with a poisonous snake bite that kills Takashi, his soul is doomed to Hell unless Haruo and Rika can rescue him from the King of Hell.
