Tremors 5: Bloodlines

Two South African Wildlife Ministry agents hire Burt Gummer and his new cameraman Travis Welker to confront a wave of Ass-Blasters. The duo flies to a remote location to face the threat. Burt quickly bonds with their pilot, Den Bravers, as they arrive on-site.

The team sets up their quarters at an animal refuge. Travis befriends Amahle Montabu and begins to develop feelings for Nandi Montabu, Amahle's mother. This sparks a rivalry with Baruti, a local who is also in love with Nandi.

Two paleontologists celebrate after finding fossilized Graboid remains at a dig, but they are attacked and eaten. Burt investigates the scene and realizes the fossil belongs to a different breed of Graboid. This hints at a more dangerous threat than initially thought.

While Travis attends a tribal dance with Nandi, a refuge worker named Thaba is attacked by an Ass-Blaster and carried away. The danger of the creatures becomes more personal for the refuge residents. Burt orders the refuge evacuated.

Burt orders the refuge evacuated and heads out with Erick and Johan Dreyer to locate an Ass-Blaster in a cave. Burt shoots the flying monster, but it crashes down and kills Dreyer. The team realizes the threat is larger than a single creature.

Burt discovers the Ass-Blasters are laying Graboid eggs. Erick reveals himself as a poacher aiming to sell the eggs on the black market. He locks Burt in a metal cage and flees with the eggs.

Travis finds Burt the next day, but their truck breaks down. They press on back to the refuge on foot and discover Erick's crashed truck in the desert, with Erick fleeing a massive Graboid with detachable tentacles that Burt dubs 'The Queen Bitch.' Burt shoots the tentacles, but Erick is consumed by the monster.

Burt arranges for Travis to return to the cave to destroy the nest with a grenade while he confirms transport. In the cave, Travis kills an Ass-Blaster with the grenade but fails to destroy the nest. When Den arrives, Burt uses the helicopter's rockets to destroy the nest.

Den flies them back to the refuge and repairs the damage. On the way, Travis reveals to Burt that he is Burt's son, the child of a one-night stand in Florida 40 years earlier. Hearing of Burt's exploits, Travis hopes to follow in his father's footsteps.

Back at the refuge, workers are attacked by Ass-Blasters. Nandi, Amahle, and Baruti fight to defend the village and uncover that Amahle is hiding a Graboid egg. In the ensuing chaos, Amahle wanders away with the egg.

The village is besieged by the Queen Bitch's tentacles. Nandi suggests using the daily thunderstorm to kill it, and the trio heads for a trap built with the egg. Travis distracts the monster as villagers set the trap.

When the storm erupts, Nandi lures the Queen Bitch into the trap with Amahle's egg. Lightning drawn to the metal trap destroys the egg and the Queen Bitch Graboid, ending the immediate threat.

Burt accepts Travis as his son and invites him to join the work, hinting at a long partnership. The two brothers-in-arms look forward to future missions together as co-hosts of Burt's reality show.

In a mid-credits scene, Burt and Travis are shown co-hosting Burt's reality show, traveling the globe to confront a new wave of monsters. The tired war against Graboid threats continues beyond this battle.
