Tomie: Beginning

Tomie is a mesmerizing transfer student whose beauty provokes obsession and animosity in equal measure. She knowingly manipulates peers, flirts with authority, and makes threats that reveal a callous, almost inhuman detachment. Her promise of revenge against those who bully her marks her as both catalyst and villain, and her regenerative power ensures the horror never truly ends.

Reiko is the lone student who befriends Tomie and dares to see beyond the surface. She becomes the witness and confidant to Tomie's escalating schemes, torn between loyalty and fear. When the crowd turns violent, Reiko protects Tomie, but later becomes a casualty at the reunion, only to return as a living clone of Tomie.

Kenichi Yamamoto is a classmate who becomes entangled in Tomie's orbit and initially dismisses her as a distraction. He gravitates toward the drama and participates in the chase against Tomie, revealing a darker willingness to push violence. His actions culminate in the reunion when he kills Reiko and steals Tomie's heart, illustrating the dangerous consequences of obsession.

Satoru Takagi is the teacher whose authority is challenged by Tomie's manipulations. He tries to intervene, confronting Tomie and attempting to maintain order amid the chaos. He becomes the one who ultimately ends Tomie's reign, killing her in the final act, representing a counterforce to Tomie's cycle of revenge.

Inoue is a member of the photo club and part of the group of boys who pursue Tomie. He participates in the harassing actions, serving as the gang's ally and aiding the escalation of violence.

Yoshino is one of the bullies who chase Tomie and support the group's cruelty. He embodies the peer pressure that drives the violence and reveals the darker side of school dynamics.
