Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars!

Tom was splashed with green paint backstage during a live speech at the International Space Place. The staff saw his green-colored fur and immediately assumed he was an alien, leading them to try capturing both Tom and Jerry.

While being chased by the space center staff, Tom and Jerry ran through the facility and accidentally stumbled onto a rocket preparing for Mars. The chase led them directly onto the spacecraft, which then launched with them inside.

The Great Gloop is a feared legendary creature in Martian folklore. When Jerry is brought to the Martians' lair, they mistake him for this mythical beast due to his size and appearance. The misunderstanding is quickly cleared up once they realize he's just a regular mouse.

The Martians planned to invade Earth because they intended to conquer the planet. Tom and Jerry learn about this invasion plan while at the Martian lair and decide to steal a flying saucer to return to Earth and warn humanity.

The team tricked Spike, the Martian guard dog, into entering the Invince-a-tron's brain compartment using a bone as bait. Once inside, Spike caused the robot to malfunction, ultimately destroying it and stopping its deadly suction that was swallowing people and buildings.

The U.S. President awarded Tom and Jerry with a shiny new Hummer because they had saved Earth from the Martian invasion and the destructive Invince-a-tron robot. Their quick thinking and teamwork prevented a planetary catastrophe.

After being destroyed, the Invince-a-tron was repaired and reprogrammed. Spike, the Martian guard dog who had been sucked into the machine, gained control of it. He used the repaired robot to return to Earth seeking revenge against Tom and Jerry.

Earlier, Spike was forced into the robot's brain to destroy it, establishing his connection to the machine.

Peep flies in on a flying saucer to rescue Jerry from danger, but Tom gets left behind during the escape. This leaves Tom to be chased by the Spike-controlled Invince-a-tron while Peep and Jerry fly away to safety.

After defeating the first Invince-a-tron and receiving a reward, a repaired version controlled by Spike returns for revenge. Peep rescues Jerry but leaves Tom to face the robot alone. The movie ends with Tom still being chased by the Spike-controlled Invince-a-tron as the sun sets, with Biff and Buzz cleaning up the mess from their earlier lies about life on Mars.

Biff and Buzz are punished because they had lied about there being no life on Mars. As part of their punishment, they are assigned to clean up the aftermath of the Martian invasion at the space center, rather than being celebrated like Tom and Jerry.
