Q4

Why was Benz framed for Pavi's murder?

George Mathan and Benny framed Benz to cover up their own crime. After Pavi's body was discovered in a landslide, George fabricated a story claiming Benz murdered his own son over family tensions. Q5

Is Pavi actually Benz's biological son?

His biological father was Anbu, Benz's former stuntman friend who died in an on-set accident, and Lalitha was Anbu's earlier love interest. Why did George Mathan use Benz's car to dispose of Pavi's body?

George deliberately used Benz's car because he needed an unconnected vehicle that wouldn't be traced to the police or himself. This also allowed George to later frame Benz for the murder once the body was discovered.

Q9

What really happened to Sudheesh's sister in Thudarum?

Nothing happened to Sudheesh's sister. The entire story about her being harassed by an ex-boyfriend who died in a scuffle was a fabrication created by George Mathan and Benny to explain the presence of a body in Benz's car. This false narrative was designed to make Benz believe he was helping dispose of a criminal, not his own son.

Q10

What did Benz mean when he said he didn't kill his son?

When a reporter asks if he killed his son, Benz responds with "I didn't kill my son. The ones who killed my son, I..." Why was Benz's Ambassador car seized by police?

Benz's Ambassador was seized after Kuttichan's assistant used the vehicle for smuggling marijuana. The police claimed this as justification for confiscation, though the real reason later became clear when George used the car for transporting Pavi's body. Benz pleaded for hours before George intervened to release the car under false pretenses.

What is the message about honor killings at the end of Thudarum?

The film ends with title cards stating that an estimated 30,000 honor killing cases occur in India every year, yet only 25-35 are officially registered. The rest vanish due to caste bias and social pressure. This statistic underscores the film's critique of how honor killings remain hidden and unpunished in Indian society, paralleling George's ability to cover up his crime.
