Thor: Love and Thunder

Gorr, the last survivor of his kind, endures a harsh existence in a desert with his daughter. He prays to his god, Rapu, for help but faces devastating loss when his daughter dies from starvation.

In a moment of despair, Gorr discovers an oasis where he encounters Rapu. Instead of offering aid, Rapu mocks Gorr’s suffering, which ignites a deep sense of betrayal within him.

In a fit of rage, Gorr seizes the Necrosword, an ancient weapon, and kills Rapu. This act marks the beginning of Gorr's quest for revenge against all gods, fueled by his grief and anger.

Meanwhile, Thor, traveling with the Guardians of the Galaxy, investigates various distress signals throughout the cosmos. Despite his adventures, he feels unsettled and contemplates retirement from his heroic duties.

Lady Sif, who has been relentlessly hunting Gorr, sends a dire warning to Thor and the Guardians. Upon finding her severely injured, Thor learns of Gorr's dangerous plans targeting New Asgard.

Dr. Jane Foster faces stage IV cancer and experiences a loss of hope in finding a cure. Inspired, she ventures to New Asgard, hoping to harness magical healing powers.

In a miraculous turn, Mjølnir, Thor's enchanted hammer, reassembles itself and grants Jane the powers of the Mighty Thor. This transformation sets her on a path to aid Thor in the upcoming battle.

Gorr unleashes chaos upon New Asgard by summoning shadow monsters with the Necrosword. Thor, Korg, Sif, and the newly empowered Jane join forces to confront Gorr's hordes.

Despite their efforts, Gorr manages to abduct the children of New Asgard, including Axl, Heimdall's son. Thor makes a crucial realization that the children are trapped in the Shadow Realm.

Determined to rescue the children, Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg travel to Omnipotence City to seek help from Zeus. Their quest becomes perilous as they face Zeus's skepticism.

In a chaotic encounter, Zeus captures Thor, prompting Valkyrie and Korg to intervene. In the fallout, Thor retaliates, wounding Zeus, which shifts the focus back on confronting Gorr.

Arriving in the Shadow Realm, Thor and his allies realize Gorr has set a trap for them. The children they aimed to rescue lead them straight into Gorr's plans.

Gorr attempts to use Stormbreaker to access Eternity and make his wish for the end of gods. A fierce battle ensues as Thor empowers the children with his strength to fight back against Gorr's minions.

In a heart-wrenching moment, Jane bravely wields Mjølnir to destroy the Necrosword but succumbs to her illness in Thor's arms. This bittersweet ending leads her to Valhalla, forever remembered.

After Jane's passing, a statue of her as the Mighty Thor is erected in New Asgard. Thor steps into a new role as he cares for Gorr's child, embarking on adventures across the galaxy with new hope and purpose.
