A dramatic epic captures Australia’s vast spirit at the dawn of WWII in the north. As Japanese forces approach, civilians enact a scorched‑earth retreat, burning settlements. Rather than slaughter their cattle, a diverse group drives the herd across the continent, journeying from Wyndham in Western Australia, through the Northern Territory outback, to new grazing lands near Brisbane, Queensland.
