In 1920s Australia, a veteran police officer leads his team on a difficult journey across the vast outback. Their mission is to apprehend an Aboriginal man who is suspected of murder. As they traverse the unforgiving landscape, the expedition is fraught with danger and complicated by racial prejudices among the officers. The relentless pursuit tests their resolve and exposes deep-seated tensions within the group, while the environment itself presents a formidable challenge.
