The wealthy, impulsive Rollo Treadway plans to propose to his beautiful socialite neighbor, Betsy O’Brien. When she declines, he still boards the cruise he had intended as a honeymoon. A mix‑up puts both on the wrong vessel, leading them into a series of high‑seas adventures together.
