A stowaway slips onto a vessel sailing down the Vistula River. Mistaken by the captain for a Communist Party cultural coordinator, he—Tym—embraces the role, quickly turning the cruise into a series of absurd, mildly humiliating games that manipulate both passengers and crew. Soon he dominates everyone, establishing a humorous, self‑styled dictatorship.
