After the U.S. Army and several Indian tribes sign a peace treaty, a group of surveyors illegally trespasses on tribal lands, violating the agreement. The army dismisses the Indians’ protests, prompting the Indians to kill the surveyors. This sparks a ferocious war, ending with the Indians launching a coordinated assault on an army fort.
