After a careless apprentice sets fire to Count Broko’s garments while ironing, his master dismisses him. When the tailor later finds a note saying the count cannot attend a dance, he decides to impersonate the nobleman and attend in his place. Unbeknownst to him, the apprentice also heads to the mansion for the same event, leading the two to unexpectedly encounter each other while both are disguised.
