Two brothers lead contrasting lives that inevitably clash. Eero, a recently married man, launches a print shop and battles the challenges of getting the business off the ground. Meanwhile, his brother Eki, a student inspired by Marxist ideology, finds himself dating the daughter of a wealthy shipowner, creating tension between his political convictions and personal relationships.
