Later, her peaceful life is shattered when armed men storm her home, forcing her into a confrontation with her own powers. In a trance-like state, she exhibits superhuman strength and agility, fighting off multiple attackers with ease, leaving her both confused and frightened by her abilities.
Nobleman warns her that her life is at risk unless she joins him, threatening her with deadly consequences. He escorts her to the laboratory, where she is restrained and confronted by Dr. Baek. She learns that she was intentionally created and genetically modified to possess supernatural abilities. Her ongoing headaches are caused by a deadly disease, and she is given a blue serum designed to keep her alive temporarily, making her dependent on regular injections. After receiving the serum, Ja-yoon’s personality shifts dramatically—she reveals she has always known her true nature and that her memory was never erased.
