The Terror of Tiny Town

The film opens with a man on stage introducing the movie. Buck Larson interrupts, declaring that he will be Hollywood's biggest star and that the story is serious. The villain Bat Haines follows, boasting he will be the other big star, and the two argue until the master of ceremonies breaks them up and signals the movie to begin.

As townsfolk work and sing, Buck spots Bat's gang rustling calves from the ranch. The rustlers plant a branding iron bearing Tex Preston's initials to frame him. Buck realizes something foul is afoot and decides to act.

Tex Preston travels to town to retrieve his orphaned niece Nancy, who will live with him at the ranch. The move foreshadows a worsening feud between the Larsons and Prestons. Meanwhile Bat manipulates townfolk to advance his own plans.

In the town saloon, Bat tells the sheriff to stay out of the Larson Preston feud or he will be jailed again. He reveals that he intends to rob a money carrying stagecoach that night. The scene sets Bat's ruthless plan against Buck and Nancy's romance.

Buck and his group spot Bat's gang attacking the carriage and drive them off. Buck then stops a runaway carriage that is carrying Nancy Preston, bringing her safely back to town. The rescue strengthens their bond despite the ongoing feud.

Buck and Nancy fall for each other, but their budding romance must remain hidden because of the Larson Preston feud. They steal moments together whenever possible, while Pop grows wary of their closeness. The romance complicates family loyalties and alliances.

Pop Larson discovers Buck and Nancy together and orders them to stay apart. Buck chases after Nancy and they ride away together, trying to escape the feud's grip. Bat spies on them and informs Tex that the pair are together, prompting further interference.

Tex rides to confront the situation, but Bat murders him and frames Buck for the crime. Bat manipulates Nancy into believing Buck shot Tex, tightening the noose around the hero. The sheriff arrests Buck for Tex's murder as the feud deepens.

In the town's saloon Buck confronts Bat and lands a punch, drawing a violent confrontation that lands Buck in custody. Bat tries to bargain for hanging Buck without a fair trial. Buck sends Nancy to the Larson ranch to gather help for his escape.

The angry mob closes in on Buck as the sheriff tries to intervene. Bat shoots the sheriff and escapes through a window, slipping away before the Larson crew can reach him. The town is left in chaos as Bat disappears.

Buck chases Bat to a secret hideout, determined to settle the feud once and for all. The pursuit takes them to a remote location where the final confrontation begins to take shape. The stakes grow higher as the two enemies close in.

Dance hall girl Nita, angry at Bat for neglect and abuse, plants dynamite in Bat's cabin. Her action fuels the impending collapse of Bat's power and foreshadows the explosive ending. The mood shifts toward a decisive showdown.

Buck and Bat engage in a final duel inside Bat's cabin. Buck makes a dramatic escape, and the cabin explodes as Bat aims to shoot him in the back. Bat is killed, ending his scheme and clearing the way for Buck's triumph.

With Bat defeated, Buck and Nancy are finally free to be together and share a kiss. The town begins to recover from the feud and embraces a sense of hope and romance. The film ends on a note of victory for the couple and the community.
