Buck and Bat duel under the flicker of danger and smoke, and Buck makes a narrow escape, fleeing the cabin as Bat’s last shot is aimed at him. The cabin explodes in fire as Bat reaches for a back-turned gun, and Buck narrowly survives to see the town’s tensions finally ease. In the aftermath, Buck and Nancy can share a long-awaited kiss, their bond sealed as the dust of the feud clears and a fragile peace settles over the town.
