Voltan is the loyal yet morally ambiguous servant who aids the lovers and fights against Alain's tyranny. He engages in confrontations within the dungeon and ultimately helps retrieve the key, sacrificing himself in the process. His actions are pivotal to the escape attempt.

Talon is the treacherous ally who murders Count Grassin and embodies the villainy that underpins the castle's perilous world. He witnesses the unraveling of Alain's plans and presents a constant threat to the protagonists. His actions propel the tension toward the final confrontation.
