That night, Velma wakes to a sound outside the tent, and Daphne wakes as well. Scrappy-Doo suddenly yells 'Puppy power!' which sends the entire group scrambling into the woods. They decide to let Scrappy lead the way for a bit, but then slip away from him to keep moving.

Velma loses her glasses, and Fred loses his patience, insisting she use a glasses strap. The team splits up to search for her, and Velma wanders off while Daphne goes to find her. Scrappy reappears, startling Daphne and prompting her to flee in panic.

The trio tracks the monster's noises to a haunted-looking house in the middle of the forest. Inside, Velma switches on a radio to check the news, but eerie music begins to play instead. The location feels like a trap as the team debates whether to trust their senses.

A zombie bursts into view and chases the group upstairs as they flee through the house. Velma films the chaotic scene, commenting on the dreaded door sequence that hurls them from room to room. The chase escalates through the corridors, heightening the sense of danger.

The monster corners Velma in the basement after a perilous pursuit, with Shaggy cowering in a corner. The moment of danger peaks as the creature lunges toward Velma and the screen cuts to black. The scene leaves their fate unresolved at this moment.
