The film pits traditional religious values against modern extremism. Subbaiah Sastry, once a revered Vedic scholar, now survives as a corpse carrier, shunned by Hyderabad neighbors for performing the lowly Tiladaanam rite—accepting the dead’s sins for a coin. His son Raghuram has turned terrorist, pursued by police, creating a stark clash between an outdated system and an uncertain future.
