The Robot enters a royal tournament to win Princess Mimi's hand. He faces numerous opponents, including Lord Raider, a space traveler chasing fortune. The crowd watches as his metal resolve and courage are put to the test.

The tournament culminates in a tie between Raider and the Robot. A coin toss decides who gains the final advantage, heightening the stakes for both competitors. Spectators wonder whether fate will favor metal or luck.

The Robot wins the final match, but Raider claims he cannot marry the Princess because he lacks a real heart. The King confirms the rule, yet offers a chance: fetch the pulsating star and embed it in the Robot's engine to give him a true heart. If he fails, Raider will marry the Princess.

The package crashes onto Planet Earth near Jimmy Five's backyard, its impact sounding like a loud blast. Monica and her friends hear the noise and hurry to the site to investigate. They release the Little Robot from the box and he begins to tell how he arrived on Earth.

Monica and friends hear the Robot's tale and decide to help him. They recruit Franklin to design and build a ship to aid their mission. The group commits to helping the Robot find a true heart and return to Carrotland.
