Plot Summary
A zany parody of the 1968 Planet of the Apes, the film follows the original plot step‑by‑step. Balloon‑traveling men land on a hill ruled by talking apes who enslave humans and try to turn the newcomers into monkeys. A simian princess falls for one of them. Made by Brazil’s comic troupe Os Trapalhões (Renato Aragão, Dedé, Mussum, soon‑to‑join Zacarias), the low‑budget makeup and locally flavored humor give it a deliberately goofy, light‑hearted feel.
