Bátky János, a 20th‑century intellectual, researches Rosicrucian secrets in London libraries and enjoys women’s company at night. His work draws him to the haunted Pendragon castle in Wales, where the 18th‑century Earl of Gwynnedd conducts experiments to achieve bodily resurrection. Meanwhile the demonic St. Claire and her allies hunt him for a huge inheritance.
