In 1956, a routine day at a church in Tarascon, France, turns into a nightmare when Father Noiret is unexpectedly lifted into the air and engulfed in flames. Jacques, horrified, clutches the priest's rosary as the gruesome event unfolds before his eyes.

After the traumatic events at Saint Cartha's monastery, Sister Irene dedicates her life to the convent in Italy. She grapples with the memories of her past but remains committed to her faith and duties within the religious community.
