Billy Hayes forms a close bond with fellow astronaut Max as they spend months together in isolation aboard Florida ArkLab. Their camaraderie helps them endure the endless confinement and keeps morale from collapsing. Yet the remote life begins to reveal shadows behind its calm surface.
