Gyembo and Tashi are teenage siblings living in a Himalayan village where their father oversees a Buddhist temple, a family tradition spanning generations. He hopes Gyembo will eventually take over his duties, encouraging him to attend a monk school instead of his current English-language school. Tashi, meanwhile, dreams of becoming a professional soccer player and aspires to attend a training camp, a vital step towards national team selection. The film portrays a tender portrait of a Bhutanese family navigating the challenges of tradition, personal aspirations, and the gap between generations.
