The Lords of Salem

In the heart of Salem, Massachusetts, Heidi, a recovering drug addict, embarks on a new chapter of her life. She begins working at a gritty rock radio station, where she enjoys spinning records alongside her friends, Whitey and Munster.

One day, Heidi receives a mysterious wooden box that contains an album from a band called The Lords. The music from this album, which features only strings and woodwinds, transports Heidi and Whitey into a sinister alternate reality.

In the alternate reality created by The Lords' music, Heidi discovers a world where women are trapped by malevolent forces. These women are involved in ritualistic births of a cursed child, revealing a dark underbelly of Salem.

The next day, Heidi interviews Francis Matthias, a writer focused on the infamous Salem witch trials. As their discussion unfolds, the haunting melodies of The Lords play, inducing a surreal trance that affects all women in Salem.

Heidi meets Megan, her landlady's sister and a palm reader, who ominously tells her that she is destined to succumb to her hidden cravings. This revelation unsettles Heidi, prompting her to experience unwanted visions.

Haunted by unsettling visions, Heidi is drawn to apartment 5, where she witnesses disturbing imagery of a demon and a witch. These chants of 'Bleed us a king' gnaw at her sanity as she struggles to piece together her reality.

As Heidi spends more time with Francis, he uncovers ancient melodies hidden in an old book. His discovery soon reveals that The Lords' haunting tune was created by a coven accused of witchcraft, claiming it could control the women of Salem.

Francis learns about Margaret Morgan, the leader of the coven, who cursed Rev. Hawthorne's lineage. Disturbingly, it is revealed that Heidi is a direct descendant of this bloodline, making her a possible vessel for a dark prophecy.

Overwhelmed by her haunting visions, Heidi spirals deeper into her drug addiction. Seeking solace, her landlord Lacy and her sisters guide her back to apartment 5, only to find it transformed into a nightmarish opera house.

Inside the opera house, Heidi is ensnared by dark tendrils as she confronts the evil force that has tormented her for so long. This battle for her soul reveals the depths of her terror and the cacophony of her suppressed fears.

The next day, Matthias attempts to reveal the truth about The Lords and Heidi's lineage but is met with violent resistance from Lacy and her sisters. Meanwhile, Heidi remains oblivious, entrapped in her own mind.

As night falls, an ominous concert featuring The Lords begins. The women in attendance, including Heidi, fall into a hypnotic trance, stripping away their inhibitions while being led by sinister forces.

During the chaotic concert, Heidi confronts primal forces, leading to the horrifying birth of a grotesque, crustacean-like entity. The realm of darkness unveils itself, leaving a trail of destruction.

The aftermath of the concert leads to shocking revelations, as reports flood into the radio station regarding a mass suicide occurring at the event. In the chaos, Heidi herself mysteriously disappears.
