A Greek army officer arrives in Crete just after the German occupation and joins the local resistance and Allied saboteurs to sabotage German installations. He obtains secret documents from the German commander, but a betrayal exposes him and he is sentenced to a firing squad. He ultimately escapes to Cairo.
