Sergeant 1st Class Aaron Hallam infiltrates an enemy stronghold during the chaos. He confronts and swiftly kills a Serbian commander, demonstrating his elite combat skills and setting the tone for his character's transformation.

Transitioning from a life of combat, L. T. Bonham now works with the World Wildlife Fund in British Columbia. He finds purpose in healing wildlife, but his past follows him as he confronts an abuser of an injured wolf.

In Silver Falls, Oregon, two hunters unknowingly become the targets of Hallam, who is now a remorseless assassin. He engages in a deadly cat and mouse game, showcasing his lethal skills as he dispatches his unsuspecting prey.

Recognizing the need to contain Hallam's rampage, government officials seek out Bonham’s expert tracking abilities. Reluctantly, he agrees to the mission and meets with FBI agent Abby Durrell, who briefs him on Hallam's dangerous situation.

Upon encountering Hallam, Bonham and Hallam engage in an intense battle that highlights their combat strengths. Their confrontation is short-lived as Agent Abby and her team intervene, tranquilizing Hallam and taking him into custody.

Department of Defense operatives, Dale Hewitt and Stokes, arrive to take Hallam into their custody. They reveal his transformation into a killer, driven by the effects of PTSD stemming from his experiences in Kosovo.
