For thirty years she lived without companionship. After her daughter dies, wealthy housewife Julia Lofting abruptly abandons her husband and moves into a dilapidated Victorian house in London hoping to rebuild her life. Initially everything seems fine, but she soon finds herself haunted by the grief of her loss and the lingering spirits of other children.
