At the fashion show in Madame Arlette's salon, The Falcon tails Diane Medford to uncover clues about her connection to Tom's supposed death. Diane is greeted by her fiancé Paul Harrington, while dancers Carmela and Valdez mingle in the crowd. A shot rings out and Diane collapses, escalating the mystery.

From the alley behind the salon, The Falcon confronts his alive-looking brother Tom, confirming that Tom is not dead. The discovery deepens the conspiracy and makes the case personal for The Falcon. The encounter heightens the danger as more players enter the game.

Inspector Donovan arrives and arrests Lefty at the scene, removing one potential ally from The Falcon's side. In a twist of fate, The Falcon is then knocked down by a speeding car, injuring him and delaying the pursuit. The case grows murkier as the real killer remains at large.
