Rick Turner experiences vivid nocturnal dreams featuring a woman in a negligee dancing in the clouds. These dreams are intrusive and disrupt his daily life, prompting curiosity and concern.

One restless night, Rick finds himself inexplicably drawn to a charming doll shop. Here, he encounters a doll resembling the woman from his dreams, igniting a mix of fascination and unease within him.

The next day, Rick brings his girlfriend, Donna Trent, to the doll shop in search of answers. To their surprise, the shop's owner, Frank Lamont, reveals he knew Rick and had pre-ordered a doll resembling Bianca Milan.

As they prepare to leave, Donna spots a doll resembling her own likeness, but Frank refuses to sell it. The encounter leaves them unnerved as Frank mysteriously vanishes into a back room filled with incense and dim light.

Unexpectedly, Donna collapses, suffering from a severe heart spasm while they are out. The doctors at the hospital advise complete bed rest, leaving Rick feeling helpless and disoriented by the unfolding events.

In a moment of despair, Rick has another vision of Bianca Milan, which renews his determination to understand the strange occurrences. He believes that delivering the doll will free him from his haunting dreams.

Rick meets Bianca in her luxurious apartment, where he is captivated by her beauty. That night, they become lovers, and she reveals the origins of his visions, linked to her knowledge from the Gamba cult.

Bianca invites Rick to an upcoming Gamba cult meeting for his initiation. The meeting takes place in the same back room of the doll shop, where Frank plays the role of High Executioner.

During the cult meeting, Bianca reveals plans for a human sacrifice. A young woman is bound on an altar beneath a spinning knife-studded wheel, the ritual orchestrated by the shadowy figure of Frank.

Frank violently dispatches a doll representing an undercover journalist, resulting in a crippling accident. As the journalist’s car crashes and explodes, the chilling reality of the cult's actions dawns on Rick.

Rick encounters Donna again at the doll shop, her expression frozen in horror. Paralyzed by fear, he decides not to intervene but rushes to the hospital, haunted by the prophecy of her impending fate.

The clock strikes midnight, marking a miraculous recovery for Donna. She emerges from a traumatic experience, while a nurse named Mary subtly informs Bianca of her restoration.

Upon returning to Bianca's apartment, Rick learns of an emergency Gamba meeting. The atmosphere grows tense as Frank speaks ominously of an intruder, hinting at another gruesome fate.

As midnight approaches, Frank’s dark intentions are unveiled when he seizes another doll and impales it. The event tragically culminates in chaos as a car explodes due to the unfolding calamity.

In a climactic struggle, Rick saves Donna from being sacrificed, leading to Frank's demise beneath the very wheel of fate he controlled. As they escape into the night, their bond is reignited amid the chaos that unfolded.
