Continuing the saga from The Aztec Mummy, the evil Dr. Krupp escapes custody with his gang and renews his desperate bid for Xochitl's legacy. He focuses on the legendary gold breastplate and bracelet that guard the Aztec princess’s tomb, and, to circumvent any safeguards, he hypnotizes Flor Sepulveda, Rosita Arenas the woman who is her current reincarnation, hoping to force the revelation of the tomb’s location. The chase rekindles the same dangerous obsession: power, treasure, and a return to ancient curses that refuse to stay buried.
As the danger escalates, Flor’s fiancé takes up the cause alongside a pair of allies. Dr. Eduardo Almada—a thoughtful, bookish physician portrayed by Ramón Gay—joins forces with his mild-mannered assistant Pinacate and a mysterious masked superhero known simply as the Angel. The trio becomes Krupp’s most persistent obstacle, pushing back against hypnosis, traps, and a plot that hinges on deciphering the hieroglyphics engraved on the breastplate, which supposedly reveal where Xochitl’s tomb lies.
