The Crippled Masters

Lee Ho's arms are chopped off by White in the dojo as Tang carries out Lin Chang Cao's orders. The master declares that Lee Ho betrayed him, and Tang is lauded for his loyalty. The brutal act sets Lee Ho on a difficult path of survival and revenge.

After the amputation, Lee Ho staggers into town seeking food but is beaten in a restaurant by a bouncer and left alongside a coffin maker. The henchmen Black and White further assault him before he escapes into the wilderness. He survives by his wits as he flees toward an uncertain future.

Lee Ho finds work as hired help on a small rural farm. He learns to live with no arms, using his stump and chin as makeshift tools to grip and manipulate objects. The work hardens him and begins his slow recovery.

Lin Chang Cao punishes Tang by pouring acid on his legs for knowing too much, then casts him into the wilderness to die. Tang stumbles to the river where Lee Ho, now seeking revenge, crosses paths with him. An enigmatic Old Man appears and offers to train them both for their inevitable showdown.

At the Old Man's secret training grounds, Lee Ho and Tang begin a grueling regimen tailored to their missing limbs. They learn kung fu techniques that compensate for their stumps, improving balance, precision, and weapon awareness. The training forges their resolve for revenge.

Lin Chang Cao instructs his henchmen to chase jewelry thieves. Pow, along with Black and White, tracks the thieves into the wilderness and crosses paths with Lee Ho and Tang. Lee Ho and Tang kill Black and White, and Pow escapes to report back to Lin Chang Cao.

In town, Pow fights Ho in front of a whorehouse. Lin Chang Cao orders Pow to hire Ho to kill Lee Ho and Tang, and Ho proves his kung fu prowess. Impressed, Lin hires Ho as a guard at the main headquarters.

Lee Ho and Tang infiltrate Lin Chang Cao's headquarters at night and steal back the box containing the Eight Jade Horses. They are discovered during their escape and pursued by Ho. Ho reveals that he is a provincial government agent sent to recover the horses, which depict advanced kung fu techniques.

Ho attempts to confront Lin Chang Cao but cannot defeat him due to a metal plate in Lin's back that shields him from injury. This setback underscores the need to master the Eight Jade Horses' techniques. Lee Ho and Tang realize their plan must leverage the horses' kung fu.

Lee Ho and Tang break into Lin Chang Cao's headquarters to rescue Ho. They fight their way out and exit the compound, with Lin's henchmen in pursuit.

In anticipation of the final showdown, Lee Ho and Tang study the moves depicted by the Eight Jade Horses at the training grounds. They integrate those techniques into their own fighting styles.

Lin Chang Cao returns for a final confrontation but is defeated by the combined efforts of Lee Ho, Tang, and the Old Man. The alliance of former enemies ends Lin's reign of terror, and peace begins to return to the region. The Old Man's training and resilience are vindicated as the heroes walk away from the ruined compound.
