The Corpse of Anna Fritz

Pau, a hospital orderly, processes the body of Anna Fritz as it arrives at the hospital morgue. He takes a photo of the nude corpse and sends it to his friend Ivan. The moment seeds a dangerous plan to view the body together.

Ivan and Javi arrive at the morgue after Pau shows them the photo. They stand over Anna's body, sharing the moment and letting the idea of necrophilia take hold. The group quickly becomes complicit.

The men discuss whether it is possible to rape a corpse and what lubrication would involve. Pau confesses he already raped a girl around 17 or 18 years old in the past, revealing a dark, dangerous mindset. The conversation reveals their twisted line of thinking.

As Ivan begins, Anna suddenly revives, opening her eyes while unable to move. The horror of discovering a living person inside the body shocks all three men. Pau screams as the reality of their actions crashes down.

The trio faces a choice: report the revival and face rape charges, or murder Anna to cover up what happened. Javi urges taking responsibility and helping Anna, while Pau and Ivan prefer to hide the truth. The tension drives the next actions.

As they’re about to leave by the elevator, Ivan discovers his hospital access card is missing in the morgue. Pau urges him to leave it and go, trying to avoid trouble, while Anna starts to reveal herself as she puts on a hospital gown.

Ivan confronts Pau about conspiring to frame him, and the situation spirals. In the confrontation, Anna strikes back and stabs Ivan twice, sending him to bleed out. Pau watches in horror as the plan unravels.

With Ivan gone, Anna switches her focus to Pau and stabs him multiple times. Pau collapses, crying and realizing the betrayal of the plan to leave him to face the consequences alone. The murder completes as Anna enacts her own retaliation.

Anna is shown in the aftermath with tears in her eyes and blood on her face, a stark reminder of the victims and the consequences of the men's crimes. The scene lingers on her haunted expression as the reality of what has happened sinks in.
