In 1941, on the brink of the German invasion of Greece, cynical American foreign correspondent Michael Morrison lands in Athens planning to leave for London the next day. He is duped into smuggling a list of resistance leaders out of the country and soon finds himself hunted by German forces across a violent, war‑torn landscape.
