In 2080, Pluto Nash purchases the Moon nightclub previously owned by his friend Anthony Frankowski after mobsters Gino and Larry threaten him. He enlists Miguel and an android named Bruno to clean it up and renovate the venue. The move aims to realize Pluto's dream of running a successful club and to shield it from criminal influence.

Seven years later, in 2087, Dina Lake—daughter of Pluto's friend Nicky Sticks—is stranded on the Moon and needs money to return to Earth. Pluto hires her as a server at Club Pluto, giving her a chance to earn and survive. Dina starts a new chapter under Pluto's umbrella while the club thrives.

Rex Crater, a mysterious entrepreneur, tries to buy Club Pluto. When Pluto refuses, his henchmen Mogan and Kelp bomb the club, destroying it. Pluto, Dina, and Bruno barely escape the devastation.

Pluto's ally Rowland, a retired detective who knows his mother Flura, learns that Crater has associates connected to human cloning. The discovery hints at a larger conspiracy behind the takeover attempt. The clue sets the stage for a deeper investigation into Crater's operations.

Pluto and Dina begin investigating Crater's network, following leads that point to cloning as a cornerstone of his criminal empire. They piece together how Crater's front companies and cloning ties fuel his power on the Moon. The investigation drives them through the Moon's underworld and legal façades alike.

Crater's assassins strike again, pressing Pluto and Dina into flight. They hijack a limousine driven by a holographic chauffeur named James to escape. The high-speed chase reveals Crater's reach extends into high-tech security and cunning ops on the Moon.

Felix Laranga, a local smuggler who idolizes Pluto, rescues them from immediate danger. He helps them plan an infiltration of Crater's casino/hotel at Moon Beach. The alliance galvanizes Pluto's plan to expose Crater's clone scheme.

Inside Crater's casino/hotel, Pluto and Dina uncover evidence of Crater's clone identity and illegal operations. They witness the opulent power structure he built to control Crater's network on the Moon. The stakes rise as they edge closer to exposing him to the public and authorities.

During a confrontation, Crater reveals that he is Pluto's clone. He claims that he previously had Mike Marucci and Dr. Runa Pendankin shot into orbit to topple rivals and cement his own criminal domain. The revelation reframes the conflict as a fight over identity and legitimacy.

Mogan and Kelp arrive to support Crater but he kills them for incompetence, demonstrating his ruthlessness. Pluto and Crater clash in a violent duel, ending with Crater being thrown through a window to his death. The clone's scheme collapses as Pluto reclaims his rightful place.

Sometime after Crater's demise, a celebration is held at the fully renovated Club Pluto. Dina performs as a singer, signaling the club's revival and Pluto's regained leadership. The Moon's nightlife resumes normalcy as the two look toward the future.
