Thammudu

Subramanyam, also known as Subbu, is portrayed as a carefree and irresponsible young man who spends his days roaming with girls, hanging out with friends, and failing his exams. His behavior reflects a deep-seated discontent and hatred towards his father, Viswanadh, a cafe owner. The story introduces the family dynamics and Subbu’s reckless lifestyle.

Chakri, Subbu's elder brother, is shown as a disciplined college-level kickboxer preparing for an upcoming championship. He is favored by their father, Viswanadh, and faces pressure to succeed, especially against his rival Rohit from Model College. Chakri's rigorous training contrasts with Subbu's reckless attitude.

During a match with Rohit, Chakri suffers a loss, embarrassing himself and his family, especially due to the rivalry and class differences. This defeat indicates Chakri’s struggle with confidence, and Rohit’s dominance amplifies the tension between the two colleges.

Jaanu, Subbu's neighbor, is secretly in love with him, although Subbu remains oblivious to her feelings. Jaanu’s father owns a garage, and Jaanu considers Subbu as a source of fun and material things, but her love remains unrecognized by Subbu.

Subbu encounters Lovely, a wealthy student from Model College, and falsely claims he attends an elite engineering college and is from a wealthy background. Lovely falls for his lies, and they start a relationship based on this deception, leading to romantic feelings on her part.

Lovely discovers that Subbu is lying about his wealth and college status, which leads to her feeling betrayed. She insults and breaks up with him publicly in front of Viswanadh and Chakri, causing embarrassment and shame for Subbu.

Viswanadh learns about Subbu's financial dealings with Jaanu and the lies he told Lovely. Fatigued with his son’s irresponsibility, Viswanadh banishes Subbu from the house, leaving him homeless and isolated.

Homeless and remorseful, Subbu receives support from Jaanu, who encourages him to become responsible and prove himself to his father. Inspired by her love and concern, Subbu starts to change and personal growth begins.

Rohit, now dating Lovely, viciously attacks Chakri, seriously injuring him and leading to his hospitalization. This incident deprives Chakri of participating in the upcoming inter-college kickboxing championship, escalating tensions.

Motivated by his brother's injury and desire for redemption, Subbu trains intensively to participate in the inter-college kickboxing championship. His hard work marks the turning point in his character development.

In a triumphant display of skill and determination, Subbu defeats Rohit in the final match of the championship. His victory is dedicated to Chakri, symbolizing his redemption and acceptance of responsibility.

Following his victory, Subbu gains his father’s approval and finally accepts Jaanu’s love. The story concludes with his emotional growth, family reconciliation, and newfound maturity.
