The film opens with a grim prologue: two men of Indian origin are killed in Ireland by a masked assailant, casting a shadow over everything that follows. At the heart of the story is Tara Wadia, a talented singer who is dating a powerful but dangerous businessman with gangster ties, Raghu. Raghu is already under the watchful eye of the legal system, and Tara’s world begins to tilt as his shadowy past starts to close in.

When Raghu confesses a troubling secret—that he had spent a night with a prostitute—Tara’s trust fractures and the couple break up. Tara travels to Ireland, chasing a chance at independence, but trouble follows her. On arrival in Dublin she is detained for drug possession, and she reaches out to Raghu for help. Raghu turns to a sharp-minded lawyer, Elle Jordan, hoping to secure her release, but the court rejects the bail plea, leaving Tara facing a potentially life-changing sentence. Desperate, Raghu makes a bold, risky decision to intervene personally, and the film begins to peel back the threads of his past. As a child he had worked for a feared gangster named Aurangzeb, who had brutal leverage over Raghu’s family. Aurangzeb’s cruelty toward Raghu’s mother sparks a hunger for power and revenge, and Raghu was trained to shoot when Aurangzeb insulted his mother—an act he carries with him as a haunting catalyst for everything he does.

Seeking a way out, Raghu enlists the help of a notorious convict, Robin Dharamraj Santino, who has escaped prison fourteen times. The plan is ruthless and time-pressed: extract Tara within a 20-minute window before an automatic lockdown seals the city’s exits. Raghu orchestrates a daring escape, staging a tense confrontation with law enforcement while the clock ticks down, and he buys Tara the precious moments she needs to breathe again. The rescue marks a fragile reconciliation between them, as Raghu reveals that his earlier dalliance was not a betrayal but a calculated strand of a larger mission.

In the aftermath, Raghu discloses a startling truth: he is an undercover assassin who has taken down criminals at the urging of Commissioner Afzal A. Khan, a revelation that reframes everything Tara believed about Raghu’s past. The couple’s newly fragile trust is tested again when news arrives about Anirudh Brahman’s location, drawing Raghu into a fresh danger. He confronts Haider, Tara’s close friend whose vow of revenge runs deep because Aurangzeb’s shadow looms over his family. Raghu’s resolve wins out in a deadly confrontation, and Haider is killed, clearing the path for Raghu and Tara to move forward.

With the immediate threat behind them, Tara is eventually freed from prison and returns home to her mother, a reunion that Raghu shares in as a protective partner. The film closes on a note of hard-won peace—an uneasy, earned happiness where Tara, her mother, and Raghu stand together, aware that the past has left its mark but that their bond can weather whatever comes next. Their story lingers, a testament to loyalty, danger, and the fragile line between love and duty.
