Detectives Jack Welles and Eddie Hatcher begin their investigation into a group of bank robbers shortly after they execute a daring heist. Ghost, a former member of the gang, is revealed to have been apprehended during a previous robbery and is no longer part of the crew. Meanwhile, his absence allows Jake, the crew member, to pursue a relationship with Ghost's ex-girlfriend Lilly, who has accepted his proposal of marriage.

After being paroled, Ghost makes a surprise return to the gang, claiming he holds no grudge against them. His unexpected presence entices the members to consider a high-risk heist involving an armored vehicle, promising a tempting payout of $20 million.

Detective Welles starts piecing together evidence that the crew is planning another heist. As he narrows in on specific crew members, he discovers they are in search of C4 explosives, leading to a deadly confrontation with the suppliers that nearly costs him his life.

The crew devises an audacious plan to rob an armored car by creating a subway tunnel, dubbed 'The Subway'. The team plans to blow a hole in the street right as the armored car passes overhead, a risky maneuver designed to maximize their escape route.

As the crew executes their plan, a young boy on a bike inadvertently causes the armored vehicle to brake just before the explosion occurs. This twist allows John to capture one armored car and push another into the crater created by their explosion.

Following the heist, tensions rise within the crew as Jesse confesses to shooting Hatcher, leading to a dramatic standoff. Just then, Russian gangsters storm in, triggering chaos and resulting in A.J.'s tragic demise during the ambush.

After the violent encounter with the Russian gangsters, Jake returns home to find Lilly murdered. This devastating turn of events sends him spiraling into a dark place, intensifying his feelings of betrayal and loss amid the chaos unfolding around him.

In the midst of the turmoil, Ghost unexpectedly betrays the gang, taking down Scott, a dealer, and seizing the laundered money. This shocking twist reveals Ghost's true nature and puts him at odds with the remaining members of the crew.

The situation escalates into a tense three-way standoff between Welles, Gordon, and Ghost. As bullets start flying, Ghost shoots both Welles and Gordon, creating a chaotic scene where loyalties and survival instincts collide.
