On Day 2, Joey and Cecilia travel to the nearby Isarog village and witness the aftermath of savage attacks. A woman lies dead with her stomach gouged, signaling the brutality that haunts the island. The team debates staying for the full trip despite the danger.

That night, Phoebe overhears a private conversation about the Aswang and discusses the folklore: a shape-shifting, flesh-eating creature that can affect newborns. The crew grapples with the idea of a predator in their midst and the implications for their survival. The discussion increases the tension within the camp.

On Day 3, Sebastian is bitten by an Aswang, signaling the threat is real. Phoebe discovers an infant corpse nearby, deepening the fear that the island’s horrors touch even the most vulnerable. The group begins to understand the creature’s proximity and danger.

Cecilia and Joey reach a gun tower near the Aswang’s nest, where Joey reveals his motive: a WWII-era treasure left by his grandfather. He detonates a hole in the tower floor and descends to retrieve gold, hoping to secure his family’s future. The discovery motivates a perilous ascent into the depths.
