In 1993, Skye Willow, the drummer of Dream Widow, suffers a horrifying injury, lying helplessly with her leg horrifically shattered. Her frontman, Greg Nole, stands looming over her, brandishing a hammer that he uses to unleash a violent attack on her and another band member.

As the brutal assault continues, Greg Nole savagely brings the hammer down onto Skye’s skull, repeatedly shattering it. In a chilling act of despair, he takes his own life immediately after his rampage, leaving a scene of carnage.

Fast forward to 2019, the Foo Fighters, led by Dave Grohl, struggle to create new music. Under pressure from their manager Jeremy Shill, they settle into a mysterious mansion that sets an ominous tone for the band’s creative process.

The band's tech expert, Tech, faces a tragic end when he is electrocuted by a frayed wire while working in the mansion. The band dedicates their upcoming album to Tech's memory, highlighting the dark atmosphere surrounding their new venture.

As Grohl explores the haunting mansion, he stumbles upon a concealed basement filled with dark artifacts and relics. Curiosity leads him to an old demo tape that he listens to, unwittingly releasing the malevolent spirit of Greg Nole.

Grohl begins to exhibit strange behavior as he falls under the influence of Nole's spirit. Oblivious to the sinister force now guiding him, the band continues their work on the album, not realizing the danger creeping upon them.

The chaos escalates with the brutal decapitation of Darren, a delivery man, outside the mansion. The unseen assailant, wielding hedge clippers, sets a grim tone for the unfolding horror, leaving the band in shock.

The next day, as Chris Shiflett cooks, he faces a horrific incident when his face gets stuck on a grill. The same killer reemerges to attack him, intensifying the atmosphere of fear and paranoia within the group.

Faced with the gruesome sight of Darren's body, Grohl manipulates the band into silence, confiscating their phones to maintain control. This marks the deepening of Grohl’s dark transformation, with his possession mounting.

Samantha, a neighbor, becomes increasingly anxious, trying to warn the band about the challenges they face. Her urgent attempts highlight Grohl's unsettling condition and the inevitable confrontation with the malevolent spirit.

In a chaotic struggle, Mendel inadvertently crushes Barb Weems beneath a car during an escape attempt. The chaos takes a dark turn as desperation leads to shocking choices, intertwining the fates of those left in the mansion.
