Ninako Kinoshita, a first-year student, meets the popular Ren Ichinose during the morning train ride to school. The encounter leaves her feeling exhilarated and curious about him. She soon learns Ren is already in a relationship with Mayuka, setting up an impossible crush.

As days pass, Ninako's admiration grows; she finds herself thinking about Ren constantly and watching him from a distance. She realizes her feelings aren't casual, even though he is dating Mayuka. The unrequited crush begins to shape the dynamics of her everyday life.
