Stray Dog: Kerberos Panzer Cops

In a near‑future Japan still haunted by the turmoil of the 20th century, the state created an elite paramilitary police force known as Kerberos. Clad in near‑bulletproof powered exoskeletons called Protect Gears and armed with heavy automatic weapons, these officers operate on the razor’s edge between order and oppression. Three years after the forced disbandment, a former operative is granted parole and sent on a personal quest. Inui, a hardened intelligence specialist, steps out of prison with a single purpose—to track down his former commander, Kouichi Todome, whose disappearance has become a whispered legend among the shadows of the underworld. The search carries him across the sea to Taiwan, a place where past loyalties and present realities blur, and where he encounters Tang Mie, a young local woman whose own tangled history with Todome offers both guidance and mystery.
