In the vibrant land of Avalonia, Jaeger Clade and his teenage son Searcher Clade embark on a daring adventure to uncover new worlds. This marked the beginning of their journey together, filled with aspirations and the thrill of exploration.

During their exploration, Searcher stumbles upon a remarkable green plant that emits energy, later identified as Pando. This discovery excited Searcher, but Jaeger, frustrated, dismisses the find and continues his solo quest.

Twenty-five years later, Searcher has harnessed Pando to become Avalonia's primary energy source, significantly impacting the community. He and his wife Meridian Clade cultivate Pando, ensuring its integration into daily life.

One night, Callisto Mal, the president of Avalonia, arrives on her airship Venture with alarming news. She announces that Pando is rapidly depleting and urges Searcher to investigate its origins, setting the stage for an adventurous expedition.

Searcher accepts the challenge and joins an expedition to explore a vast sinkhole, believed to be where Pando's roots are located. Meridian, desperate to keep up with the mission, hops into her crop-duster, while Ethan and Legend sneak aboard.

As the Venture descends into the sinkhole, it is ambushed by terrifying red wyvern-like creatures. The attack leads to an unexpected crash landing in a breathtakingly beautiful underground realm filled with unknown dangers.

Separated from the group, Searcher and Legend come face-to-face with a fearsome creature known as a 'Reaper.' Just when hope seems lost, Jaeger, who has been living in the subterranean world, appears to save them, revealing his quest to cross the mountains.

Meanwhile, Ethan sets off on his own adventure, evading capture and making friends with a quirky blue creature he names Splat. This blossoming friendship becomes significant as ethnos journeys unfold.

Ethan eventually reunites with Searcher, Legend, and Jaeger after a series of Reaper attacks. They are saved by Meridian and Callisto, returning to the Venture as tensions rise between Jaeger and Searcher about their different ambitions.

The group discovers Pando's roots are under siege and learn Avalonia itself is on the back of a giant turtle-like creature. They realize that Pando poses a dangerous infection threatening the creature’s heart, leading them to rethink their mission.

Determined to save the colossal creature, the Clade family returns to the expedition group with a sense of urgency, but they face confinement from Callisto. However, Jaeger sees the truth alone, spurring their collective need to act.

With help from their loyal companions, Legend and Splat, Searcher, and Ethan break free. They head towards the creature’s heart to clear a course for the Reapers, while Meridian takes command of the ship, rallying support from Callisto.

In a thrilling climax, the Clade family bands together to dismantle Pando. This allows the Reapers to destroy it, rejuvenating the creature’s heart and restoring balance to the ecosystem of Avalonia.

A year later, the landscape of Avalonia has transformed beautifully with Ethan and Diazo exploring new possibilities. The reliance on Pando has been reduced, and the relationships among the Clade family members have been strengthened.

As the scene gradually zooms away, the majestic creature glides across an ocean-covered planet, symbolizing the new-found harmony in Avalonia. Searcher and Jaeger reflect on their journey, connecting more deeply than ever.
