Spookley the Square Pumpkin

Boris the bug-eating bat and Bella the bug-loving vegetarian discover Spookley, a square-shaped pumpkin, in the pumpkin patch at Holiday Hill Farm. The sight is unusual enough to catch their attention and prompt them to seek help. The event sets the stage for Spookley's introduction to the rest of the farm.

Boris and Bella rush to inform the scarecrow Jack about Spookley's existence. Jack expresses interest in meeting this unusual pumpkin and takes a liking to him.

Little Tom, attached by a vine to Big Tom, taunts Spookley and argues that only round pumpkins are real. Jack quickly steps in to stop the teasing and defend Spookley.

Jack organizes the Jack-o-Lympics, a contest to crown the Pick of the Patch and celebrate the pumpkins' talents. The event invites all pumpkins to compete in friendly challenges.

Spookley proves to be a total failure at the events, which dampens his spirits as the other pumpkins perform well. He begins to doubt his place in the patch and wonders if being square is a disadvantage.

Three spiders named Edgar, Allan and Poe pretend to sympathize with Spookley so they can win the prize for themselves. Their plan is to use Spookley's story to secure the candy corn crown for themselves.

During the competition, Big Tom and Little Tom are repeatedly disqualified for using their vine to gain unfair advantage. Their penalties alter the dynamics of the event and leave room for others to shine.

Bobo, a vain female pumpkin, wins most of the events as the spiders abandon Spookley to claim the prize for themselves. The crowd's attention swings between crown hopes and Spookley's uncertain fate.

A severe wind storm hits the pumpkin patch, pushing pumpkins around and pinning Jack under a flaming tree branch. The chaos threatens the pumpkins' safety and disrupts the Jack-o-Lympics.

Spookley, because of his square shape, does not roll away in the wind. He uses his ingenuity to rescue Jack from the burning branch and to help keep the other pumpkins from being washed away in the river.

The other pumpkins express gratitude to Spookley for his bravery and he is hailed a hero. His actions during the storm change how the patch views him.

The farmer comes into the patch to assess the storm damage and discovers Spookley. Charmed by his unique shape, the farmer decides to make Spookley his own personal jack-o'-lantern.
