A flying boat is forced to ditch on a remote Pacific island, carrying its injured owner‑pilot and a motley group of passengers: a policeman escorting his smuggler captive, a slippery British witness, a physicist, and a globe‑trotting free spirit. On the island they discover a hulk of abandoned ships, tethered livestock, and a lead‑lined bunker filled with surveillance cameras, leading to a stark realization.
