Hope Goldman, a renowned aesthetician, runs a successful skincare studio in Los Angeles. She is preparing for the launch of her skincare line while promoting it on The Brett & Kylie Show, gaining media attention. Her business is thriving, but she faces new challenges when a rival clinic opens nearby.

Angel Vergara, owner of a competing skincare clinic, requests Hope not to park in her usual spot, which she sees as a sign of ongoing rivalry. Hope returns to her studio to work, but feelings of irritation grow as Angel's presence threatens her business.

Colleen, one of Hope's clients, introduces her to Jordan Weaver, a self-proclaimed life coach. Hope begins to socialize with him, contemplating his advice and presence in her professional and personal life.

Hope receives a mysterious video of herself in her studio, followed by an ominous phone call. The next day, her contacts are sent an emotional email from her account, leading to canceled appointments and a damaged reputation.

Hope learns her segment on The Brett & Kylie Show has been replaced by an interview with Angel. Brett blames producers for this change and then offers to reinstate her segment in exchange for sexual favors, which she refuses after recording their conversation.

Hope finds her tires slashed, a warning possibly from her harasser. She shows her mechanic hope messages and is advised to buy a gun, but she ultimately opts for pepper spray as a safer self-defense tool.

A man arrives at Hope's salon claiming he wants to have sex with her. Jordan intervenes and removes him forcefully. Personal ads for sex are posted online, further tarnishing her reputation and causing her to lose clients to Angel.

It is revealed that the man threatening Hope was hired by Jordan. Meanwhile, Jordan attempts to handle Angel's issues by proposing to offer coaching services to Angel's clients, but his plans do not go as intended. Surveillance footage shows Jordan slashing Hope's tires.

Hope's supporter Armen confronts Angel at his home and knocks him unconscious. While driving away injured, Armen is hit and killed by a truck, marking a tragic turn in the events.

Hope demands Jordan come to her office, but he reports her to the police. She later fights Jordan with a baseball bat during a confrontation at his apartment. The police arrive, arresting Hope and Jordan amid chaos.

Hope's reputation is further damaged as she is shown being dubbed 'the killer facialist' on the show. Meanwhile, the man who broke into her house indicates she deleted evidence of her conversation with Brett. Her segment finally airs with a negative nickname.
