As the door swings open, the revenge that was denied a decade earlier erupts in the present‑day school: the ghost of Socorro attacks Sister Julia, a statue carves a fresh wound across her cheek that mirrors the cut on the statue in the vision, and a falling statue crushes her face. Simultaneously, Mother Superior is submerged in blood‑stained water, choking and dying as she did in the flashback.
