Tom and his friend Dick learn their sister Hari has been captured by the Nork tribe and vow to rescue her. They set out across a harsh post-apocalyptic landscape, hoping to slip past hostile tribes along the way. The world is a wasteland 23 years after a nuclear war.

On their trek, they encounter several tribes each led by a post-apocalyptic 'god' who commands mutant-like soldiers. One god, Godan, can levitate enemies, but is betrayed by his second-in-command, a woman in red. The group also meets a tutu-wearing giant, toga-wearing werewolves, high-society vampires, mummy-like mutants, and Xenon who can clone himself from severed parts.

The trio is captured by the matriarchal Urech clan led by She. They manage to escape from their captors, narrowly avoiding capture again as they press onward. The escape sets the stage for a potential alliance when a greater plan unfolds.

She, after hearing a prophecy from a local seer about a man she is destined to meet, decides to help Tom and Dick in their quest. She and her loyal lieutenant Shanda join the group on their travels, bringing strategy and force to the journey. Hari remains a key motivator driving the rescue effort.

With She and Shanda aboard, the group becomes separated as they push toward the Nork fortress, each member traveling through perilous territories to reach the stronghold. The long, dangerous journey tests their resolve and loyalty. Bonds are strained and renewed as the miles accumulate.

The remaining friends are captured by the Nork fortress and forced into a gladiator-style melee alongside other Nork applicants. They dispatch the competition and realize Hari has been taken as the Nork leader's concubine, complicating their rescue mission. The grim turn raises the stakes for the group's plan.

The Nork leader releases the group but makes clear that his forces will attack and enslave the Urechs the next day as punishment for their defiance. Hari, Tom, Dick, She, and Shanda must act quickly to forestall the larger threat and save Hari from further danger. The looming attack intensifies the urgency of their plan.

She masterminds an ambush on the Nork forces on a bridge near the Urech lands, setting numerous traps and luring the attackers into a kill zone. Tom, Dick, Hari, and their allies contribute to the defense, using terrain and improvised devices to slow the invaders. The river crossing becomes a desperate, high-stakes battle.

As the Nork troops begin to overwhelm the heroes, Shanda and a squad of Urech warriors arrive and rout the remaining attackers, turning the tide of the battle. Hari is freed from the Nork control, and the group breathes a hard-won sigh of relief. The alliance between the travelers and the Urechs solidifies.

In the aftermath, Dick and Shanda confess their feelings and decide to stay together with the Urechs. The couple integrates into the clan, their romance strengthening the alliance as they prepare for new challenges ahead. The group gains renewed purpose from the new bond.

Tom and She silently decide to love each other from a distance, recognizing that their futures will likely take separate paths. Their bond remains a quiet, hopeful thread amidst ongoing survival struggles. They prepare to part ways while Hari’s safety remains a focus.
